Youth and Family: Kite Flying Weekend

“Go Fly a Kite” takes on an entirely new meaning when you join our Kite Flying Weekend which has been a Youth and Family Event for well over a decade here at Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park.

Professional kite flying enthusiasts, Reina and Cameron Kauffman return to the park once again, to bring their colorful, big, bright and beautiful assortment of kites to share with the community. That’s right, they want YOU to fly them yourselves!

You can bring your own kites to fly however, kite kits will be available to youngsters to decorate and fly themselves. We’ll also have crafts and big bubbles for youngsters to “blow” into the calm atmosphere.

Bring a picnic lunch and plan to stay awhile. Sometimes Mother Nature can be tricky, but we have a Plan B for no wind!
