Rose Pruning Demonstration with Suzy Miladin

“Spring Rose Care – Pruning and Fertilizing”.
Get your roses off to a great start for the growing season with correct pruning and fertilizing! Roses are tough and adaptable but they will do better when pruned correctly with increased blooms and less disease. To produce all those beautiful flowers, they also need comprehensive fertilizing that will provide essential nutrition to grow their best!
Suzy Miladin, in conjunction with UNR Extension Master Gardeners and UNRDouglas, will demonstrate proper technique and explain the principles of caring for roses.
Suzy Miladin is a Consulting Rosarian and has a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture with an internship in roses. She has been a member of the American Rose Society for 27 years and is a Douglas County Master Gardener.
